Count to 4 for quick troubleshooting your Eagle II Pro
Number 1 – Check your power
Are you using an extension cord? if so it must be at least as thick as the power cord on your machine. 12 gauge or thicker
If you’re are using a smaller cord you’re starving your machine of power.
Number 2 – Electrode
Is the tip of your electrode dirty or flat? Your machine cannot make a good weld unless the tip is clean and sharpened like a pencil with just the very end flat.
Number 3 – Clean the Panel
is the area to be pulled clean of all paint and debris? you must grind your area with fine grit sandpaper
Number 4 – Timer Setting
Turn your timer setting to the absolute lowest setting, then turn it up slightly as needed. If the temperate is too high your machine will not weld, and the tip will heat up and flatten.
